![]() ![]() Feel free to fork and do whatever you like with my code, but please do not make pull requests. This github repository is currently a weekly sync with my home dev environment, where I work on hydrus by myself. I am continually working on the software and try to put out a new release every Wednesday by 8pm EST. The program is in python, so you can also run it straight from the source code. ![]() Executable releases are available for Windows, Linux, and macOS. Everything is free and privacy is the first concern. ![]() Advanced users can share tags and files anonymously through custom servers that any user may run. ![]() It browses with tags instead of folders, a little like a booru on your desktop. Not sure what happens when you decide to extract over, don't really want to try without knowing it won't just wipe my currently-stored images and tags.įortunately it looks like you can just run v446 to 'update' back to having a hydrus network client is an application written for Anon and other internet-fluent media nerds who have large image/swf/webm collections. Starting the v447 or v448 installer again and attempting to install over the location now missing its client.exe produces the same error. client.exe is not reverted back into existence by this. It doesn't appear to have been moved to the recycle bin, either. Looking in Hydrus installation location, client.exe is just gone, at this point.Installer produces the following error message when attempting to rename/move client.exe:Īn error occurred while trying to rename a file in the destination directory:.Set 'components' dropdown to Install (not sure what happens when you just extract).Point installer at pre-existing installation location. The executable client.exe exists at this point. I'm currently on v446, but the first time I encountered this bug I was at least a few versions back from it (possibly v442). Start from earlier installed version of Hydrus.I think I first attempted the update from version v442 (or so) to v447, and it had the same issue then I got client.exe back by updating to v446, which seems to work. This usually works, but v447 and v448 have both produced this issue for me. Pre-existing install of Hydrus, attempting to update by installing over existing location. ![]()
